MUNICH, 21 June 2018 // The new Lagom residential project in Herrsching on Lake Ammersee interprets the trend to mindfulness in architecture, design and additional services.
A retreat on Lake Ammersee and the feeling of having arrived – the joint venture by Bauwerk Capital and PAMERA Real Estate Partners presents Lagom, its new residential project in Herrsching. Marketing of the 62 new units starts today. The modern complex was designed by Munich-based Lynx Architecture.
Two apartment buildings, providing 36 condominium apartments, are to be built at the front of the ca. 15,000 square metre site, close to the lake in Rieder Strasse, Herrsching. On three floors they will provide 1- to 4-room apartments, with floor areas ranging between ca. 34 and 122 square metres. 17 terraced houses – some with integral granny flats – four semi-detached and five detached houses round off the Lagom complex. Their floor areas of ca. 136 to 216 square metres will offer space for couples and families who appreciate the proximity to nature and a location just outside Munich – including an S-Bahn station. A 116-space underground car park, nine garages and seven private parking spaces are also included. Construction is scheduled to start in autumn 2018, with completion anticipated by mid-2020. Sale prices start at 349,000 Euro.
Mindfulness as a product concept
The Swedish word Lagom describes a state of balance: not too much, not too little, but just right. Mindfulness as a guiding principle has been put into practice in many of the additional services of the neighbourhood. Water as a central element is in the DNA of Lagom. A water treatment plant provides top-quality drinking water straight from the tap. To allow relaxed tours of Lake Ammersee, stand-up paddle boards will be provided for residents' use on a sharing basis. The meeting point of the community is the communal herb bed and the adventure playgrounds for the children. Mobility in Lagom is, above all, sustainable. Bicycles are the ideal mode of transport in the traffic-calmed neighbourhood. Cargo bikes can be shared for daily shopping requirements and a small workshop provides tools for repairing your own two-wheeler. The underground car park will be equipped with facilities for e-mobility.
Architecture – timeless and authentic
Nature and Lake Ammersee are the driving forces behind the architecture of the district. The architectural language and proven materials have been given a modern interpretation by Lynx Architecture, characterising the progressive appearance of all the housing types in Lagom. A particular highlight is the timber slats on the facades. They take up the local colour of Herrsching, with light-coloured timber cladding on the facades facing the lake, darker shades towards the mature trees and the Fendlbach. The boathouses and ships on the Ammersee were also an inspiration for the architects. The shape of the apartment buildings is reminiscent of the bows of ships, lying next to each other in the water. The exterior design continues in the interior. All the housing types have generously-sized, flowing layouts and a clever space concept. Large window elements provide plenty of natural light. Light-coloured natural materials, with their pleasant tactility, emphasize the aspect of mindfulness. The equipment, by well-known makers, complements the commitment to quality. The dedication of the architects ensures that materials, colours and moods are reflected in the interior design.
